New Hampshire Loses Friend, Brian Jones

NHAS and SCRAP lost a dear friend and devoted archeologist Brian Jones, Connecticut State Archeologist. He was a regular at Octoberfests since 1998. Many will remember his distinctive presence in a utility kilt or his Paleo Pale Ale home brew made with North County hops and cat tails.

A memorial service was held on August 4th in Glastonbury, Connecticut. A number of SCRAP and NHAS members were in attendance.

There will be memorial sessions at both Eastern States Archeological Federation and Society for American Archaeology this year
